How the Sleep Easy Guarantee works
1. Sleep on it for at least 30 nights
Your body needs time to adjust to a new mattress. We ask that you use your mattress for a minimum of 30 nights before requesting an exchange.
2. Still not the right fit?
If after 30 nights you’re not comfortable, get in touch with our team. We’ll help you choose a mattress better suited to your needs.
3. Swap for a better match
You can exchange your mattress for another of equal or greater value. If you choose to upgrade, you’ll simply pay the difference.
What to know
To make sure you're covered by the Sleep Easy Guarantee, a few simple conditions apply:
- The 90-day trial starts from the date of delivery or collection
- A minimum 30-night trial period applies before requesting an exchange
- The guarantee applies to mattresses only and is limited to one exchange per purchase
- One exchange is allowed per purchase
- A mattress protector must be purchased from Target Furniture on or before delivery and used on the mattress at all times
- The Sleep Easy Guarantee is for domestic use only and does not apply to commercial purchases
Exchanges & transport
If you choose to exchange your mattress, we’ll help you arrange the best option for returning your current mattress and receiving your new one.
- Return and redelivery freight charges will apply
- You can return and collect your mattress directly from our Auckland Distribution Centre (Ti Rakau Drive)
- Mattresses cannot be returned to Click & Collect depots (including Mainfreight M2Home locations)
Returning your mattress
To arrange an exchange, your mattress must be returned in good condition.
- The mattress must be clean and undamaged
- A mattress protector must have been used at all times
Adjusting to your new mattress
It’s completely normal for a new mattress to feel different at first. Many mattresses feel firmer than in-store models and can take time to soften and settle.
Your body may also take time to adjust, especially if you’ve changed comfort levels. Give it a few weeks to find your new normal.
